Hey, thanks for checking out my food & travel blogging site! It’s been over two years now since I set up my blog and I’m loving every minute of it!
My highlights so far have been; Hosting three Supper Clubs, the Lonely Planet retweeting my Harbin Ice Festival blog, getting to the live auditions of Masterchef, and becomming a content writer for a Leeds lifestyle publisher. I’ve also enjoyed connecting with other fellow bloggers and reading some great blogs & recipes.
My passion for food & travel:
I’ve been obsessed with food for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a large family in the North of England, food was such a central part of family life. It was meal times where we would get together sharing stories and appreciating the food we had.
I enjoy foods from all over the world, many of which I’ve been fortunate to try on my travels over recent years, and from the vast range of cuisines we have available in the UK.
I love experimenting with recipes and learning about food and cooking, the learning never ends! Since setting up my blog I’m really enjoying photography too. Oh and the name isn’t a gimmick, I really am a Messy Cook!
